Quincy Hawks, featuring former Hallsville High School standout Haley Martin, faced an 18-8 defeat against the Indianapolis Greyhounds in their NCAA Division II softball game held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.

The contest was played at Mart Heinen Softball Complex and marked the teams’ first game against each other this season.

Martin pitched for 1.1 innings, allowing five earned runs while tallying one walk and one strikeout.

Quincy’s next scheduled matchup is set for Sunday, March 15, at 3:30 p.m. at Mart Heinen Softball Complex, again taking on the Indianapolis Greyhounds.
