U.S. Representatives Mark Alford, Sam Graves, Emanuel Cleaver II, and Wesley Bell introduced a bipartisan resolution in the House of Representatives on May 5 to honor America’s teachers as part of National Teacher Appreciation Week. The resolution aims to recognize the lasting impact that teachers have on students and communities and encourages Americans to show gratitude for educators.
The measure highlights the important role teachers play in preparing future generations for success. It also seeks to bring attention to their dedication and daily efforts in schools across Missouri and the nation.
“Thank you to Missouri’s hard-working teachers who go above and beyond every day to shape and inspire our future generations while instilling valuable knowledge in our students. I’m grateful for their dedication to our children in the fourth district and across the Show Me State. Teacher Appreciation Week is the perfect time to recognize their critical role in preparing the next generation for success. I’m proud to join my Missouri colleagues in this bipartisan resolution honoring the lasting impact of America’s teachers,” said Congressman Alford.
