The University of Missouri swimming and diving team will travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, for its final duel meet of the season against Purdue on Saturday, January 13. The event will take place at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatics Center, starting at 11 a.m., with live results available through the Meet Mobile app.

Missouri and Purdue have faced each other twice before in duel meets, with both contests resulting in victories for the Tigers. Last season, Missouri hosted Purdue and won by scores of 233-115 for the men and 206.5-139.5 for the women.

A total of 46 athletes from Missouri are set to compete in Indiana, including Tommaso Zannella, who will make his season debut.

In previous duel meets between these programs, Missouri holds a 2-0 record over Purdue. This visit marks the Tigers’ first trip to face the Boilermakers since November 5, 2021. A win would secure a .500 or better duel meet record for Missouri for the fifth consecutive year.

In their last outing against Louisville, Missouri was defeated with scores of 205-89 (men) and 203-96 (women). Despite the losses, several individual performances stood out. Kamryn Wong broke two personal records: her score of 356.78 in the three-meter dive is now third-best in program history, while her one-meter score of 304.43 ranks ninth all-time at Missouri.

The Tigers also swept both men’s and women’s 200 butterfly events, with Taylor Williams, Emily Roden, and Jan Zubik earning NCAA Division I B Standard times. Collier Dyer secured first place in the men’s one-meter dive with a score of 356.18.

Additionally, Lina Bank achieved a time of 1:01.37 in the women’s 100 breaststroke and Zara Zallen posted a time of 49.23 in the women’s 100 freestyle—both meeting NCAA Division I B Standards during their races at Louisville.

Missouri’s relay teams finished second place in all four relay events at that meet.
