The University of Missouri’s swimming and diving team will host the annual Mizzou Invite from November 17 to 19 at the Mizzou Aquatic Center in Columbia. The event will feature nine schools, including BYU, FIU, Kansas, Lindenwood, Missouri S&T, San Jose State, and TCU. Nebraska and Wyoming will participate only in the diving events.

The invitational begins with its first session on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by an evening session at 5:30 p.m. This schedule continues through Thursday and Friday. Each day includes 14 swim events and two dive events split between morning and evening sessions. Live results are available through the Meet Mobile app.

Last year, Missouri’s men’s and women’s teams both won their divisions at the Tiger Invite, claiming a combined total of 33 event victories.

This marks the 16th consecutive year that the Mizzou Aquatic Center has hosted the invite. Nearly all of Missouri’s swimmers and divers are set to compete this week.

In their previous meet at Lindenwood held at St. Peters Rec-Plex, Missouri athletes reached the podium in all 32 events, winning 20 of them and securing more than half of all podium spots. Out of 41 swimmers who participated, 33 earned podium finishes. The team collected a total of 20 gold medals, along with 23 silver and 12 bronze.

Missouri’s women swept the top three spots in five events: the 200 free, 200 fly, 50 free, 100 free, and 500 free. The men’s team swept the podium in the 100 backstroke event. In diving competitions that day, MU won three out of four events; Kamryn Wong won both women’s one-meter and three-meter titles while Collier Dyer took first place in men’s one-meter.

Jane Smith led performances in distance freestyle for women with times of 10:00.21 in the 1000 free and 4:52.63 in the 500 free. Taylor Williams secured wins in both sprint freestyle (22.8 seconds) and butterfly (53.46 seconds). Milolaj Malec captured golds in men’s distance freestyle (9:18.86 for the 1000) as well as backstroke (1:45.25 for the 200).
