The University of Missouri swimming and diving team participated in five event finals on Wednesday, February 21, during the SEC Championships held in Auburn, Alabama. Each event resulted in either a season-best time or a personal record for the Tigers.

In the evening’s first events, the women’s 200 free relay team—comprising Sierra Smith, Zara Zallen, Francesca Smith, and Taylor Williams—finished seventh with a season-best time of 1:28.78. The men’s relay team of Daniel Wilson, Grant Bochenski, Darden Tate, and Frederik Rindshøj placed eighth with a season-high time of 1:17.68.

Sierra Smith had a standout performance in individual competition by finishing 11th in the 50 free finals with a time of 22.44 seconds after setting a personal record of 22.41 seconds during preliminaries. This achievement placed her at 10th all-time in program history for that event.

Will Goodwin set his own personal record in the preliminary round of the 200 IM with a time of 1:44.48 and later finished 14th in finals at 1:44.84. In the same race, Frederik Rindshøj recorded his season-best time of 1:45.77 during prelims before taking 23rd place in finals with a time of 1:47.43.
