Mizzou Baseball announced on Apr. 20 that it will offer free admission to all members of the Columbia community for a special “CoMo Day” event at Taylor Stadium on April 21, when the Tigers play against SIUE at 6 p.m. Central Time.

The event aims to strengthen ties between the university and local residents by welcoming fans of all ages to experience a Mizzou Baseball game in a family-friendly setting.

As part of the celebration, the first 200 fans in attendance will receive a giveaway t-shirt. The Tigers will also debut an alternate jersey inspired by “CoMo,” featuring elements that pay tribute to The Columns, one of Columbia’s most recognizable landmarks.

Head coach Kerrick Jackson said, “What makes Mizzou a special place is that the university is at the center of the community. It was important as a program to recognize where the majority of our support comes from. We are truly excited for CoMo day at Taylor Stadium.”

Fans are encouraged to arrive early as Carl Edwards, Columbia native and NASCAR Hall of Famer, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. John Warner Middle School students are scheduled to perform the national anthem, and several local community groups will be present throughout the game with tables and fan engagement activities.

The game is set for national broadcast on SEC Network. Audio coverage will be available through The Varsity Network app by Learfield with Tex Little providing play-by-play commentary alongside Matt Michaels.
