Former Battle High School standout Ainsley Stubbs was on the field for Morehead State as the Eagles suffered a 5-0 defeat to the UT Martin Skyhawks in their NCAA Division I softball game Sunday, April 19, at 12 p.m.
The matchup was hosted at Bettye Giles Field and marked the third meeting this season between the teams, who have evenly split their season series so far.
Stubbs pitched six innings, allowing four earned runs, walking one and striking out seven batters.
The Eagles are set to play next against the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks on Saturday, April 25, at University Field.
