On Friday, April 18, former Centralia High School standout Kaelyn Walters’ current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the SIU Edwardsville Cougars.

The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against SIU Edwardsville Cougars.
