Rep. Mark Alford, who has represented Missouri’s 4th District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently highlighted national security concerns and constituent services in a series of posts on his social media account.

On April 17, 2026, Alford posted about foreign land acquisitions near sensitive military sites: “ICYMI: FOREIGN LAND GRABS NEAR OUR NUCLEAR BASES = NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE

I’m moving to force real oversight on foreign (INCLUDING CCP-linked) land purchases near America’s most sensitive military installations, like MO-04’s Whiteman Air Force Base.

America’s military”.

In another post on the same day, he reported results from his office’s work for constituents: “Delivering results for Missouri’s 4th District

In Q1, our office helped return over $1.09 million to constituents while working hundreds of cases—from resolving IRS errors to securing long-overdue refunds and benefits.”

He followed with an offer of assistance to local residents dealing with federal agencies: “Ensuring families, small businesses, and providers received the payments they were owed. If you need help with a federal agency, contact our Missouri offices today: https://t.co/AGsw4gp7YR “

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler as representative of Missouri’s 4th district in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
