Rep. Mark Alford, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, shared updates and engaged with constituents through several posts on X (formerly Twitter) between August 28 and August 29, 2025.

On August 28, Alford announced his participation in a local radio program, writing: “TUNE IN: Joining Wake Up Missouri shortly on @939TheEagle.”

Later that day, he posted about a visit to a local business in Greenfield, Missouri: ” Ice cream for #AlmostFriday! That Place in Greenfield, Missouri”.

On August 29, Alford addressed his approach to constituent communication and accessibility by stating: “May not always agree, but I’ll always listen. Questions, concerns, or ideas? Contact us anytime at https://t.co/AGsw4gpFOp “

Alford has represented Missouri’s 4th district since succeeding Vicky Hartzler in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
