Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of updates on November 18, 2025, highlighting legislative progress and initiatives affecting his constituents.

In a post published at midnight, Alford emphasized party unity and ongoing legislative work: “Republicans are united and ready to finish the job. We’re getting back to regular order, moving the final appropriations bills, and delivering the America First agenda for the people we serve! “ (November 18, 2025).

Later that day, he announced new federal funding for local law enforcement infrastructure: “Proud to announce that $750,000 for a secure sally port at the St. Clair County Law Enforcement Center is now signed into law by @POTUS. @HouseGOP Appropriators delivered — MO-04 law enforcement wins. “ (November 18, 2025).

In another update on technology policy, Alford wrote: “AI is transforming every corner of our economy, and Main Street cannot be left behind. That’s why we introduced the AI for Main Street Act, empowering small business development centers to help local businesses adopt AI and stay competitive. @HouseSmallBiz” (November 18, 2025).

Alford has served as representative for Missouri’s 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. He holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin earned in 1988.
