Rep. Mark Alford, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, posted several messages on May 16, 2026, highlighting support for law enforcement and the armed forces, as well as news relevant to Missouri ranchers.

In recognition of Police Week, Alford wrote on his social media account: “Police Week is a reminder: law enforcement deserves support, not second-guessing. Under @POTUS, we’re seeing real results: falling violent crime, stronger policing, & safer streets across America. Back the blue. Make America safe again. “ (May 16, 2026).

Later that day, he honored members of the military with another post: “Honoring the brave men and women who serve our nation with courage and sacrifice. Thank you for defending our freedoms—today and every day. #ArmedForcesDay” (May 16, 2026).

He also shared an update specifically for his home state’s agricultural community: ” HUGE news for Missouri Ranchers! “ (May 16, 2026).

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler in Congress and has represented Missouri’s largely rural 4th district since early 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
