Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of messages on his official X account between April 17 and April 19, 2026.

On April 17, Alford posted a message containing only a link: “https://t.co/bB6r2c8dDQ”.

The following day, he commented on recent legislative action taken by House Republicans: “Cutting red tape & lowering costs

@HouseGOP passed the RED Tape Act this week—ending duplicative reviews that delay projects, raise prices, and hold back American energy & manufacturing.

More efficiency, less bureaucracy. https://t.co/LPU6w7LiQi” (April 18).

On April 19, Alford addressed his followers with a faith-based message: “Hey folks and Happy Sunday.

Christ was known before the foundation of the world—and revealed for us. Through Him, we believe in the God who raises the dead and gives life everlasting.

Alford has served as Missouri’s 4th District representative since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford earned his BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
