59 percent of applicants to Stephens College were admitted for fall 2018

At Stephens College, 80 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 99 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Columbia enrolled 756 students in fall 2018, including 555 in undergraduate and 201 in graduate programs, data shows. 7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

59 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 40 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 59 percent of the 982 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
