Census Bureau reports New Franklin population was 1,016 in 2020

New Franklin had a population of 1,016 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Columbia News.

The median age was 43, with 52.8 percent of the total population being female and 47.2 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 6,124,160.
