On Sunday, after responding to a call for service in the community, young Seras wanted to take a look at the fire truck. Firefighter/EMT JoJo Clardy was happy to spend some time with her. We received this generous note from Sera's mom today.
“Just wanted to share a photo of my daughter and a responding firefighter who was thoughtful and kind enough to come over and give our kiddos (who both have ASD) stickers and pencils. She bent down and talked to them too, which was great. It’s a powerful thing to be able to show a kiddo who protects their county and put a face to the sirens (which they LOVE). Meant a lot. Thanks so much!”
