Census Bureau: 77% of people in Audrain County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 25,223 citizens living in Audrain County in 2021, 77% were old enough to vote, equating to 19,419 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 8,595 were male, constituting 44.3%, and 10,824 were female, making up 55.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Audrain County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
