A public hearing will be held before the City Council of Columbia, Missouri, in the Council Chamber of City Hall at 701 E. Broadway on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for citizens and interested parties to discuss a proposed addition to the Bolstad Substation.
The proposal involves adding a new 69 kV bus at the Bolstad Substation to facilitate generation interconnection with the Boone Stephens Solar Facility. The estimated cost for this improvement is $473,600. Payment for the project will be funded by Stephens Solar I, LLC.
This announcement was made by order of the City Council.
