Columbia announces upcoming Parks and Recreation events

The City of Columbia is preparing for a series of events organized by the Parks and Recreation Department. For more information, residents are encouraged to visit the Parks and Recreation page or call 573.874.7460. The department also maintains an active presence on its Facebook page.

Additionally, the city has announced several upcoming community activities and initiatives:

- National Customer Service Week will be celebrated from October 7 to 11.

- The Columbia Fire Department will kick off Fire Prevention Week on October 6.

- A commemorative poster unveiling and artist honoring will take place at the 2024 Celebration of the Arts.

City Source, a monthly newsletter produced by the Creative Services and Marketing and Engagement and Public Communication divisions, is distributed to all City of Columbia utility customers and available free of charge at City Hall.
