Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district, has expressed his views on recent events and actions by President Trump through a series of tweets on June 10, 2025.

In his first tweet, "Thank you, @POTUS, for sending much-needed assistance to aid Missourians in recovery." Alford acknowledged the support from President Trump following a request made to the administration. He mentioned being proud to have supported the Governor's request for aid and expressed gratitude for the assistance provided.

Later that day, Alford commented on media coverage of riots in Los Angeles. In his tweet "Biased so-called journalists can call the riots in LA 'jovial' or 'peaceful' all they want...", he criticized certain portrayals of the events and emphasized that many Americans witnessed violence and destruction firsthand. He supported President Trump's decisive measures aimed at restoring order.

Continuing with his remarks on security issues, Alford tweeted "President Trump is acting on his historic mandate delivered by 77 million Americans..." Here he highlighted Trump's efforts to secure borders, streets, and the economy as part of fulfilling his electoral mandate. He reiterated the necessity of reestablishing law and order in Los Angeles.

Mark Alford has been a member of Congress since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963, he now resides in Lake Winnebago and holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
