Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district, recently shared updates on various topics through his social media account. Alford, who replaced former Congress member Vicky Hartzler in 2023, has been vocal about legislative developments and international affairs.

On June 13, 2025, Alford announced the release of episode 21 of his podcast. In this post, he highlighted key issues such as violent riots in California and the need to restore law and order. He also mentioned that the House passed the HALT Fentanyl Act alongside other bills aimed at holding Washington D.C. accountable. Additionally, he referenced a rescissions package codifying $9.4 billion in cuts to what he described as wasteful spending.

In another tweet posted at the same time, Alford invited listeners to tune into his broadcasts on KCMO (95.7FM & 710AM) in Kansas City at specific times over the weekend and on Key Radio (89.3FM) in Osage Beach from Friday to Sunday. Later that day, Alford addressed international relations by sharing insights on U.S coordination with allies regarding Iran's recent actions under President Trump's administration. In this message, he stated that Iran had failed to meet a deal within a given timeframe set by Trump’s administration and expressed confidence in President Trump’s efforts alongside Israel and other allies to restore peace.

Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963, Mark Alford is now based in Lake Winnebago. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA degree in 1988.
