Senator Eric Schmitt has recently expressed his views on social media regarding the actions of journalists and pundits, as well as political events surrounding President Trump and President Biden. Through a series of tweets posted on June 17, 2025, Senator Schmitt addresses topics such as media coverage, political power dynamics, and the outcome of the presidential election.

In a tweet from June 17, 2025, Senator Schmitt criticized journalists and pundits for allegedly ignoring or covering up information due to partisan biases. He stated that "These journalists and pundits saw the exact same images, videos and reports that we saw. They saw Robert Hur's report that Biden was so mentally diminished they couldn't prosecute him." He further claimed that their decision to ignore these details was influenced by their "own partisan allegiances."

On the same day, Schmitt commented on what he perceives as a cover-up motivated by power. He asserted that "That's what this cover-up was about: Power." He also noted that despite this alleged cover-up, "President Trump won," emphasizing the need for elected leaders to ensure similar situations do not occur in the future.

Later in the day, Schmitt tweeted succinctly about leadership change with "All we needed was a new president." This tweet included a link which suggests further commentary or evidence supporting his statement.
