Senator Eric Schmitt recently appeared on Fox News to express his concerns regarding President Joe Biden's mental health and the potential implications for the presidency. Schmitt criticized Democrats and the media for allegedly ignoring signs of Biden's cognitive decline, suggesting that this issue is "bigger than Watergate."

Schmitt emphasized the importance of having a capable president in a constitutional republic, noting that "when the president signs something, whether it’s a bill or a treaty or a letter, he is speaking on behalf of the American people." He further alleged that whistleblowers have claimed Biden struggled with basic tasks, such as finding the bathroom in the Oval Office.

The senator drew parallels between Biden and former President Woodrow Wilson, who was reportedly incapacitated during his presidency. Schmitt stated, "I have said often that Joe Biden is the worst president this side of Woodrow Wilson," suggesting that like Wilson, Biden may not be fully in control.

Schmitt announced plans to seek documents from the Archivist related to Biden's use of an autopen for approvals. He expressed intentions to verify if proper documentation exists for these actions.

Regarding media coverage, Schmitt accused mainstream outlets of lacking credibility and being driven by an agenda to prevent former President Donald Trump from returning to office. He argued that Trump's political comeback demonstrated public skepticism towards media narratives.

"We got to make sure people are held accountable and this never happens again," Schmitt concluded.
