Rep. Mark Alford, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Missouri's 4th district, has been active on social media sharing his perspectives on recent legislative developments and personal acknowledgments. On June 17, 2025, he shared his thoughts on President Biden's economic plan.

In a tweet posted on June 17, Alford stated that "The OBBB from @POTUS will be an economic windfall for working, middle-class, and rural Americans: largest tax cut in history higher wages higher take-home pay generational spending cuts deficit reduction". He emphasized the expected benefits of the bill which include significant tax cuts and improvements to wages and take-home pay.

On June 18, Alford further expressed support for the legislation through another tweet saying "MORE MONEY FOR MISSOURIANS: @POTUS’ One, Big Beautiful Bill will benefit Americans in ALL 50 states! President Trump is positioning the United States for genuine prosperity." He cited a state-by-state analysis predicting widespread advantages across the nation.

Later that day, Alford attended a retirement event for Colonel Butler at Whiteman Air Force Base. In his tweet dated June 18, he acknowledged Butler's service by writing "After 32 years of leadership and bravery in the Air Force, Colonel Butler is retiring from service." He expressed gratitude for Butler’s career achievements during this ceremonial occasion.

As additional context about Rep. Mark Alford: He has represented Missouri’s 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, he graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
