Nine student-athletes from the University of Missouri's football team have been named to Phil Steele's 2025 preseason All-SEC team. Offensive guard Cayden Green leads the selections, earning a spot on the first team. Running back Ahmad Hardy, wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr., and safety Jalen Catalon are included in the second team. Linebackers Triston Newson and Josiah Trotter, along with safety Daylan Carnell, are part of the third team. Center Connor Tollison and defensive tackle Chris McClellan complete Mizzou's representation on the fourth team.

Cayden Green returns for his second season as Mizzou's starting left guard. "Green helped the Mizzou offense accumulate 2,138 rushing and 2,926 passing yards as well as 26 rushing touchdowns," states Phil Steele's organization.

Ahmad Hardy joined Mizzou after transferring from Louisiana Monroe. He was recognized as a Freshman All-America selection and Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year in 2024.

Kevin Coleman Jr., previously at Mississippi State, was a 2024 All-SEC Third Team selection and has amassed significant receiving yards over his career.

Jalen Catalon brings experience from Arkansas, Texas, and UNLV to Mizzou. A two-time semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, he returns to SEC play after earning accolades at UNLV last year.

Triston Newson continues his role as starting linebacker for Mizzou with an impressive record of tackles and forced turnovers.

Josiah Trotter comes from West Virginia where he earned Freshman All-America honors during his rookie campaign.

Daylan Carnell enters his third season as a starter with notable performances in interceptions and pass breakups.

Connor Tollison returns after recovering from a season-ending injury last year. His previous contributions helped secure high rankings for Mizzou's offensive line in various categories.

Chris McClellan maintains his position as starting defensive tackle with consistent performance in tackles for loss.

Mizzou will begin its 2025 season against Central Arkansas on August 28 at Memorial Stadium.
