These ratings reflect a high level of creditworthiness and low risk of default, leading to lower borrowing costs for the county. As a result, Boone County can obtain lower interest rates on bonds and loans, which will reduce the overall cost of its new training center. This financial benefit enables the county to allocate more resources toward improving infrastructure, technology, and public services within the building to better serve community needs.
