Eligible Boone County taxpayers have until October 1, 2024, to apply for the Senior Real Estate Tax Relief Program. Applications have been open since July 1, 2024. Information and applications are available online at www.ShowMeBoone.com by selecting the Boone County Senior Real Estate Tax Relief Program link. In-person applications and notaries can be accessed on the first floor of the Boone County Government Center located at 801 E. Walnut, Columbia.
