Public safety groups compete in Boone County blood donation drive

Boone County, Columbia, and University of Missouri public safety organizations are set to participate in the Boone County Battle for Blood. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 28, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Activity and Recreation Center located at 1701 W. Ash in Columbia, Missouri.

The competition aims to recruit blood donors, with the department securing the most donor votes receiving a traveling trophy. Interested individuals can make an appointment to donate by visiting www.savealifenow.org and using Sponsor Code: boonecountybattleforblood.
