Public safety organizations in Boone County to compete in blood donation drive

Boone County, Columbia, and the University of Missouri public safety organizations are set to compete in the Boone County Battle for Blood. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 28, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Activity and Recreation Center located at 1701 W. Ash, Columbia, Mo.

The competition involves recruiting donor votes, with the department that secures the most being awarded a traveling trophy. Those interested in donating can schedule an appointment by visiting www.savealifenow.org and using the Sponsor Code: boonecountybattleforblood.
