The annual Hinkson Clean Sweep event is set to take place on October 16, 2010, from 10 a.m. to noon. This marks the seventh year of the city-wide stream cleanup initiative aimed at improving local watersheds and enhancing community aesthetics.

Participants in the Hinkson Clean Sweep will be provided with mesh and trash bags for collecting waste. The event will be organized with trained volunteers and support staff guiding activities at various sites throughout the city. Locations are available that cater to individuals, families, organizations, or groups wishing to participate.

Organizers emphasize that "everyone can participate," including those requiring handicapped-accessible locations. The event welcomes people of all ages and abilities, whether they are joining as individuals or part of larger groups.

To take part in this community effort, interested participants can register by visiting https://www.como.gov/service/volunteering/.
