U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) recently appeared on Fox News' "Ingraham Angle" to discuss the increasing violence against ICE agents and his proposed legislation aimed at intensifying penalties for such attacks.

Schmitt expressed concern over the rising aggression towards ICE agents, emphasizing the need for stringent legal action. He stated, “They need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Penalties should be expanded, which is what my legislation does.” He further commented on the political dynamics, asserting that those opposing current immigration policies are resorting to political violence as a last measure.

Addressing issues related to masking and identity protection for ICE agents, Schmitt criticized opponents who allegedly aim to expose ICE agents' identities for harassment purposes. He remarked on what he perceives as contradictory stances from some groups regarding public safety measures and immigration enforcement.

The senator also touched upon broader immigration strategies under President Trump's administration, highlighting efforts toward mass deportations and critiquing opposition from Democrats regarding these policies.
