Anthony Robinson II, a player for the University of Missouri men's basketball team, has received an invitation to participate in the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp. The camp, led by NBA veteran Chris Paul, will be held in Las Vegas from July 29 to August 1.
Robinson is among 12 student-athletes selected for the event. The camp focuses on preparing players for the demands of collegiate and professional basketball.
During the 2024-25 season, Robinson was recognized as the only underclassman named to the SEC All-Defensive Team. He averaged 9.0 points per game and led his team with 3.5 assists and 2.03 steals per contest. Within the Southeastern Conference (SEC), he ranked 12th in assists and seventh in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.04, while placing second in steals and 38th nationally.
Robinson improved his performance over the previous year, doubling his scoring average and raising his shooting percentage to 48.3 percent overall and 40 percent from three-point range.
His contributions were instrumental as Missouri secured 22 wins during the season and finished sixth in an SEC that sent a record number of teams to the NCAA Tournament (https://www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-men/article/2024-03-17/sec-breaks-record-mens-ncaa-tournament-bids). The Tigers achieved three victories against top-five ranked opponents for the first time since the late 1980s.
