On August 4, 2025, Alford announced plans for an upcoming tour across his district: "COMING UP: Our 2025 Town Hall Tour! Questions? Concerns? Ideas? Join us in MO-04 starting August 25th!" He invited residents to participate and share their questions or concerns.
Later that day, he highlighted a new resource for constituents needing assistance with federal benefits: "ICYMI: our Heartland Hotline is live. REMINDER: There are NO cuts for those who qualify for Medicaid or SNAP. Pregnant women, kids, seniors, the disabled, & low-income families are safe. Think you've been wrongly denied benefits? Alford has served as the U.S. Representative for Missouri’s 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and now residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree.
