Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on August 27, 2025, addressing recent events and his ongoing engagement with constituents.

In his first post at 16:38 UTC, Alford commented on a developing situation in Minnesota: "We are monitoring the tragic situation at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. Leslie and I will be praying for the innocent victims and their families, all of the first responders and for all those impacted." This message expressed condolences and support following an incident affecting a local school community.

Mark Alford has served as U.S. Representative for Missouri's 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin (1988).
