Mizzou Athletics has issued new stadium entry guidelines for fans attending the upcoming StorageMart Border Showdown against Kansas, as well as for the remainder of the season. The changes are in response to anticipated large crowds and ongoing construction related to the Memorial Stadium Centennial Project.

Fans will be required to enter Memorial Stadium through gates that correspond with their seating location. Ticket scanners at each gate will only allow access on the correct side, and additional staff will be available near entrances to assist with directions and answer questions.

To address concerns about congestion on the south concourse, courtesy shuttles will operate between Mick Deaver near Lot I and Gate 5W, running from two hours before kickoff until one hour after the game ends. This service is intended for those who park on one side of the stadium but have seats on another.

The entry assignments are as follows: fans seated on the east side (Sections 101-110, Sections 301-315 in Tiger Deck, and student section) must use Gates 2E-6E; those on the west side (Sections 116-125) should use Gates 2W-6W; fans in the south end zone (Sections 126-132) may enter through any gate. Entrances for premium areas such as Walsworth Family Columns Club, West Tower, and Multipli Club (Gate 7) remain unchanged.

"We understand we are requiring some of our fans to enter the stadium through gates they are not used to due to the stadium construction, but we appreciate everyone's understanding and flexibility," University of Missouri Director of Athletics Laird Veatch said. "Immediately after last week's game, we spent considerable time reviewing our stadium entry procedures and saw unacceptable congestion in the south concourse area that caused significant crowding issues and delays. We focused on ways to fix that issue and adjusted our preseason plan to enable the fastest ways to get all fans to their seats."

All gates will open two hours prior to kickoff this season. With no north concourse available during construction, Mizzou Athletics advises fans to expect more congestion at remaining entries and inside concourses.
