In his first post on September 4, Schmitt stated: "Wow, even an Obama judge just admitted that TDS is very real on our rogue district courts. I absolutely agree: from Boasberg to Sparkle to countless others, TDS is threatening to ruin Article III. That's why we need President Trump's nominees—like Jenn Mascott—on the bench."

Shortly after, Schmitt commented further about one of President Trump’s judicial nominees: "Good news: President Trump's nominees have the courage to act decisively. Yesterday, Prof. Mascott appeared before us at the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about her nomination. She has no qualms about telling rogue district judges to fall in line and stay in their lane." In a third message posted that day, Schmitt addressed concerns over lower court decisions diverging from Supreme Court rulings: "Over the past several months, we have seen an unprecedented wave of rogue district judges defying the Supreme Court. My message to President Trump's newest appellate judge nominee, Prof. Jenn Mascott: Ensure these rogue district judges adhere to Supreme Court precedent."
