Missouri's women's golf team will begin its 2025-26 season at the Sam Golden Invitational, which starts Monday at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas. The event features 13 teams and will open with 36 holes on Monday, followed by a final round on Tuesday. The par-72 course measures 6,343 yards.
The field includes Texas Tech, Kansas State, Louisville, Nebraska, Tulsa, Texas State, New Mexico State, UTSA, Middle Tennessee, Tulane, Central Arkansas and host North Texas.
Missouri finished last season ranked No. 64 nationally. This ranking reflects steady progress for the program over recent years after being ranked No. 120 three seasons ago and improving to No. 89 and then No. 79 in subsequent years.
The Tigers posted a 297.0 stroke average during the previous season, marking the seventh-best in program history. The prior year saw the team set an all-time record with a 293.1 stroke average.
Junior Fleur van Beek and senior Melanie Walker are key returners for Missouri this season. Walker begins her senior year holding the fifth-best stroke average in school history at 74.25 and matched the program's best single-round score of 68 at last year's SEC Championships.
Van Beek led returning players with a 74.71 stroke average last season and previously recorded a freshman average of 73.70 in the 2023-24 campaign—the third-best by a freshman in program history.
Three freshmen—Aliya Liberatore, Ebba Liljeberg and Addie Surber—are set to join the roster this year, with Liljeberg and Surber making their collegiate debuts on Monday.
Missouri's lineup for the tournament is Addie Dobson, Ebba Lijeberg, Melanie Walker, Fleur van Beek and Addie Surber.
