Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th congressional district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of updates on his official Twitter account in early September 2025. The posts highlight local business achievements, constituent services, and ongoing legislative efforts related to housing.

On September 6, Alford posted about a local business recognized by his office: "Hope you had a great first week of September.

Want to highlight our phenomenal August Small Business of the Month: Dan & Jerry's Greenhouses.

Watch for a small glimpse into all the AMAZING things this business does for MO-04's community. https://t.co/Hszyxt3vGy"

A few days later, on September 8, he acknowledged the work of his district staff: "Happy Monday, another successful case from our amazing MO-04 casework team!

Addressing national policy concerns on September 9, Alford discussed legislative action aimed at improving homeownership opportunities: "Currently, there are big things that stand in the way of folks achieving the American dream: owning a home.

We are working on a bill that will address the housing crisis. Americans should be able to buy a home, build equity, and build a life. Stay tuned! https://t.co/dPRYHo2Rep"

Alford has represented Missouri’s 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler in Congress. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin (1988).
