Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on social media between September 9 and 10, 2025, addressing immigration policy, patriotism in national defense, and faith in America.
On September 9, Alford commented on immigration enforcement, stating "There is nothing inhumane about sending illegal aliens, who Biden recklessly allowed into our nation, back to their home. 77 million Americans voted for this, and it’s time to restore law & order."
Later that day, he praised Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s leadership: " Restoring patriotism It’s encouraging to see our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, instilling a warrior ethos to our defense department. Let’s recapture the patriotic fire for America! "
On September 10, Alford addressed his followers with a message about faith: "It’s time to turn to God for the healing of America! "
Alford has served as the congressional representative for Missouri's 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford earned his BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
