Rep. Mark Alford, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, posted a series of messages on social media between September 10 and September 11, 2025. The posts highlighted his recent legislative actions and commemorated the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler in representing Missouri’s 4th district in Congress. He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford earned his BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
