Two players from the University of Missouri football team have been named to the 2025 preseason All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) Team, as announced by the SEC at the end of its annual media event in Atlanta. More than 200 media members who attended SEC Kickoff participated in the voting.

Junior left guard Cayden Green received first-team honors following a notable debut season in 2024. Green started all 13 games and was a central figure on an offensive line that contributed to one of the conference's most balanced offenses. "A native of Lee's Summit, Green enters his second season as a key piece of Mizzou's offensive front, earning multiple preseason All-American accolades. The 6-foot-5, 324-pound lineman from Lee's Summit North High School has amassed 1,504 career snaps in 24 games (18 starts) between his time at Mizzou and Oklahoma. In 2024, Green helped the Mizzou offense accumulate 2,138 rushing and 2,926 passing yards as well as 26 rushing touchdowns," according to the university.

Senior wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr., who is entering his first year with Missouri after playing at Jackson State, Louisville, and Mississippi State, earned third-team honors. "The first-year Tiger, St. Louis native and St. Mary's High School graduate has totaled 132 receptions for 1,769 yards and 11 touchdowns in 39 career games at Jackson State, Louisville and Mississippi State. Last year at MSU, he earned third-team All-SEC honors and ranked fifth in the SEC with 932 receiving yards on 74 receptions, including six touchdowns," according to Missouri.

Missouri has achieved 21 wins over the past two seasons—a total that ties them for third among all SEC teams during that period. However, the media selected Missouri to finish twelfth in this year's preseason poll. Texas was predicted to win the conference championship for the upcoming season; Georgia was chosen as runner-up. Alabama, LSU and South Carolina completed the top five predictions.

Missouri will start its season with a home game against Central Arkansas on Thursday, August 28 at Memorial Stadium. The matchup is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff and will be broadcast on SEC Network.

Fans interested in attending can join a waitlist for season tickets through the university’s ticketing platform; single-game tickets will become available starting July 29.
