The University of Missouri swimming and diving team completed the first two days of competition at the 2025 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships, held at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia.
On the second day, the men's 200 medley relay team—composed of Grant Bochenski, Ty Spillane, Jan Zubik, and Luke Nebrich—finished sixth with a time of 1:23.77. This performance was an NCAA B-cut and marked the sixth fastest time in program history. During his leadoff leg in that event, Grant Bochenski set a new program record in the men's 50 backstroke with a time of 20.77 seconds.
In women's events, Sydney Bales, Karolina Bank, Taylor Williams, and Sierra Smith posted their season best in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:37.18.
Calvin Windle achieved the third fastest time in program history for the men's 200 freestyle during his leadoff leg of the men's 800 free relay with a time of 1:33.06.
The women's 800 free relay also delivered a season-best performance as Zara Zallen, Peyton Drexler, Piper McNeil, and Zoe Schneider finished with a time of 7:08.69.
In diving events on Monday, Gabriela San Juan Carmona scored 254.10 points to finish fifteenth in the B final for women's one-meter diving. In men's three-meter diving, Collier Dyer also placed fifteenth with a score of 315.05.
The Tigers continue their participation at the SEC Championships through February 22 in Athens. Following this meet, they will host the Mizzou Qualifier from March 1-2 at Mizzou Aquatic Center.
