Missouri divers qualify for NCAA championships at Zone D meet

University of Missouri divers Megan Jolly and Collier Dyer have secured places at the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships following their performances on the first day of the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in Iowa City, Iowa.

Jolly, a freshman from Rockford, Michigan, qualified for her first NCAA Championships after achieving a total score of 635.00 in women's 3-meter diving, placing seventh overall. She scored 312.55 during preliminaries to advance to the final round.

Dyer, a junior from Littleton, Colorado, earned his third consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships by qualifying in men's 1-meter diving with an overall score of 666.50 and finishing eighth. He posted a preliminary score of 320.20 before advancing to finals.

In addition to Jolly's result in women's 3-meter diving, Gabriela San Juan Carmona finished in thirteenth place with an overall score of 619.60. Freshman Mia Henninger also competed and recorded a score of 290.10.

The next events at the NCAA Zone D Championships will see Mizzou men competing in 3-meter diving and women participating in the 1-meter event on Tuesday. The NCAA Women's Diving Championships are scheduled for March 19-22 in Federal Way, Washington, followed by the Men's Championships from March 26-29.
