Matrix Midwest will expand its coverage of Missouri Tigers football starting with the "Kickoff in CoMo" season opener on Thursday. The network, which is St. Louis' only free and independent sports and entertainment broadcaster, will launch the second season of "Mizzou Live!" and introduce a new program, "Mizzou: Final Whistle." Both shows are presented by Paytient.

"Mizzou Live!" is an SEC pre- and postgame show produced in partnership with Mizzou Athletics and Learfield. The program features analysis from former player and NFL wide receiver Justin Gage. The Tigers open their 2025 season at 6:30 p.m. Thursday against Central Arkansas at Memorial Stadium.

"We are thrilled to kick off Season 2 of 'Mizzou Live!' on Matrix Midwest as we head into the 2025 football season," said Laird Veatch, Mizzou Director of Athletics. "This partnership allows us to bring Tiger fans even closer to the action and give them a behind-the-scenes look at our program, our student-athletes and the unmatched energy of Mizzou Football. We look forward to building on the success our program has achieved and make this season's coverage bigger and better."

"Mizzou: Final Whistle" will air weekly on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. on Matrix Midwest—channel 32 and Spectrum channel 6—offering post-game insights from coach Eli Drinkwitz, player reactions, and further analysis from Gage.

JD Sosnoff, Vice President & General Manager of Matrix Midwest & KMOV-TV, commented on the increased programming: "Viewer excitement around Mizzou Football is tremendous. Fan enthusiasm and feedback have prompted us to add more Mizzou content to Matrix Midwest. We're proud to provide our community what they want."

Both programs will be broadcast across six markets in Missouri: St. Louis, Kansas City, Cape Girardeau, Springfield, Hannibal, and Columbia. After Thursday’s debut episode, "Mizzou Live!" will air regularly on Saturdays from 10-11 a.m.

Additionally, "Tiger Talk," featuring Coach Drinkwitz, has joined the network’s lineup at 9 p.m. every Tuesday through November 25.

Matrix Midwest operates as part of Gray Media—a multimedia company based in Atlanta that owns local television stations serving over one-third of U.S. households (https://www.graymedia.com/). The company also includes First Alert 4 (KMOV-TV), a long-standing local news provider in St. Louis.

Learfield continues its role as a major media partner for college athletics nationwide (https://www.learfield.com/).

Mizzou Athletics supports 20 varsity teams with approximately 450 student-athletes competing in the Southeastern Conference.
