University of Missouri’s men’s swimming and diving team began their participation in the 2025 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships with Collier Dyer earning Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 1-meter diving event. Dyer, a junior from Littleton, Colorado, scored 344.85 during the trials to advance to the consolation final. He achieved a season-best score of 368.25 in that round, finishing 11th overall and securing All-America recognition for the second consecutive year.
In other events, Luke Nebrich and Grant Bochenski took part in the 50 freestyle preliminaries, posting times of 19.30 and 19.54 respectively.
The Missouri Tigers also competed in relay events. The team of Bochenski, Ty Spillane, Jan Zubik, and Nebrich recorded a time of 1:23.97 in the 200 medley relay on Wednesday night. Later, Nebrich, Bochenski, Ethan Vance, and Darden Tate completed the 200 free relay with a time of 1:16.74.
Looking ahead to Friday’s competition at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Dyer will compete again in the 3-meter diving event. Jan Zubik is scheduled to swim in the 100 butterfly while Grant Bochenski will participate in the 100 backstroke. Additionally, Bochenski, Zubik, Nebrich, and Logan Ottke are set to compete together in the 400 medley relay.
The championships are scheduled to continue through Saturday.
