No. 25 Missouri secured a 52-10 win over Louisiana on Saturday at Memorial Stadium, marking its 13th consecutive home victory. The game was highlighted by running back Ahmad Hardy, a transfer from Louisiana-Monroe, who rushed for 250 yards on 22 carries and scored three touchdowns. This performance stands as the highest single-game rushing total in the FBS this season and is the seventh-best in Missouri history.
Hardy joins an elite group of Tigers players with high single-game rushing totals, following Devin West, Brad Smith, Tony Temple, Henry Josey, and Tyler Badie. Notably, Hardy's final carry came with more than ten minutes left in the third quarter.
With this win, Missouri improved to 3-0 for the season and extended its nonconference home winning streak to 22 games. The team will next face No. 11 South Carolina in its Southeastern Conference opener.
