Rep. Mark Alford, who represents Missouri’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on September 19, 2025, highlighting military discussions and commemorative events.

In a post from September 19, Alford wrote: "Honored to have LT. Gen. McFarlane and Col. Forrester in D.C. this week as we discussed the Army’s critical role in the Indo-Pacific. Alford has served as the congressional representative for Missouri’s 4th District since 2023 after succeeding Vicky Hartzler ([source](https://ballotpedia.org/Mark_Alford)). He was born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently resides in Lake Winnebago. Alford earned his BA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.
