Rep. Mark Alford, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing religious beliefs, local appropriations, and public safety.

On September 21, 2025, Alford wrote, "There is one God, and one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. At just the right time, He stepped in. Paul was appointed to proclaim this truth, and now we carry the same testimony: salvation is found in Christ alone."

The following day, September 22, 2025, he highlighted recent legislative achievements for his district: "Big wins for Missouri’s 4th District! Through this year’s appropriations process, we secured nearly $23 million for local priorities in committee-passed bills, ensuring your tax dollars come back home."

Later that same day, Alford addressed concerns about crime and its broader impact: "When crime drives away families, tourists, and small businesses, it threatens America’s economy and way of life. It's time to restore safety, support law enforcement, and protect all of our communities."

Alford has served as the representative for Missouri's 4th District since replacing Vicky Hartzler in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago at age 59, Alford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
