Rep. Mark Alford, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, recently highlighted federal investments and legislative actions benefiting his district in a series of posts on social media.

On September 22, 2025, Alford stated, "Proud to have secured almost $23 million in federal investments into Missouri's Fourth through @HouseAppropsGOP committee-passed bills. Check out how we are committed to supporting workforce development in MO-04 https://t.co/nlRvhuZol7".

The following day, he addressed potential government shutdown concerns by posting, "Look, @HouseGOP did the work. If the government shuts down, it will be the Schumer Shutdown. We’re focused on protecting taxpayers & getting back to regular order. https://t.co/gZwfkswGx7" on September 23, 2025.

Later that same day, Alford announced additional funding for scientific research at a state university: "In @HouseAppropsGOP’s Commerce, Justice, and Science bill, we secured $4.2 million for Mizzou’s Research Reactor: the most powerful university reactor in America! This investment means life-saving cancer treatments, high-paying jobs, and Missouri leading nuclear research. https://t.co/vUHnP2K96L".
