Rep. Mark Alford, U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 4th district since 2023, recently shared updates on social media about his positions on international affairs and local mental health initiatives.

On September 23, 2025, Alford posted his support for Israel’s actions against Hamas and emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in rebuilding efforts. He wrote, "Israel has every right to live in peace and finish the job against Hamas. Rebuilding with strong, responsible leadership from Arab neighbors in the region must follow https://t.co/QVUMqW9XgI".

Later that day, Alford highlighted his visit to Compass Health’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in Raymore, Missouri. In one post dated September 23, 2025, he stated, "From meeting with dedicated staff to seeing innovative tools like the TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) therapy machine, it’s clear that Compass Health is making a real difference in people’s lives. Thank you to the Compass Health team for the warm welcome and for the". In another post at the same time he added, " Raymore, MO Great to be at Compass Health’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Center to see firsthand the incredible work being done to support mental health in our community."

Alford succeeded Vicky Hartzler as representative of Missouri's 4th district following her departure in 2023. Born in Baytown, Texas in 1963 and currently residing in Lake Winnebago, Alford holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin earned in 1988.
